As many of you know TheShowLive recorded most of the concerts of the 2005 tour by DCD and made a lot of people very happy with those recordings. By now for a couple of month the website is not online anymore and I tried to contact TheShowLive without any success.
Do You, Brendan, or does any member of this forum know what happenend to TheShowLive?

Yes, that is the only site which is still online. The main page is not online anymore. And all email requests are returned. So I guess there is not much business going on anymore, otherwise they would have left a notice.

It seems that it is not a topic that is much of an interest. At least for Adrian an me it is.
Finally I received an answer from coudal-partners, who somehow ran the project of "dcddiscs.com". Those cds are discontinued which means that there will be no chance anymore to get those great recordings of the 2005 tour of DCD. I got them but I think that it is somehow a loss that they are not available anymore since the recording are without any doubt great and the last offical document of their outstanding live performance. At least as a legal purchase on cd. So treasure your 2005 live cds very well!
When I last visited dcddiscs there were some of the recordings of the US tour still available and the Selectiosn of Northern America as well. All European recordings were sold out already in 2005. So my guess is that they did not sell quite enough to keep the site running. Sad thing :-(.

Did anyone else get an email about a "special suprise" about a year after the tour, that would be up and coming from that site? I was hoping they finally got approval to release the Hollywood Bowl recording with full orchestra (which I am still DYING to hear) but then nothing ever became of it...I emailed at the time and their reply was the announcement was coming soon and then nothing. Brendan, do you know what they might have been planning?

Any chance the Hollywood Bowl 2005 DCD performance will ever see the light of day?

I doubt it. I was at that show and heard that the venue wanted a payment of hundreds of thousands of dollars to let the band record the concert.

    Preposterous.
